I wish PCGS would designate PL for the Kennedys like NGC does. I have this 1970-D that is proof like. Is it worth crossing or leave it alone?
If your certain, then send it for crossover and let the pro's decide. BTW, showing "prooflike" reflectivity, is next to impossible from a PCGS slab. Coins which have very nice strikes are often confused with "proof like". Judging from your pictures, I see a nice strike but I'm not seeing proof like. But, if your sure, then send it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Nice looking but it doesn't look PL to me. The obverse maybe close but not the revers and both sides must be to get the PL.
At what distance from the fields can you clearly read reflected 12pt newspaper type? Has to be everywhere in both fields.
The definition I hold to for PL/DMPL is 4-6" of reflectivity (of 12pt newspaper type) for PL, and 8"+ for DMPL.
