I have never collected notes I don't even know where to to start so I thought I would start here. This site has been great and I have learned more than i could have imagined. If some of you would not mind I would like to see some pictures of currency, and get some idea about grade as well. I will probably never be a serious paper collector, but I have thought about a type set just to share with my nephews and nieces and future Grand kids the history of US money without having to show them a book and saying I bet these are cool. I think first hand or hands on is a greta history teacher I know my 6 year old nephew loves the different types of coins and hearing about these being here in the civil war or Cowboys used these or well you know what I mean. I don't want to spend a bunch of money but I want to able to make informed choices as too type, condition and value and I know this is the place to get it. Thanks Kent

I never knew anything like that fractional note existed that is wild 10 cent paper money and so small you think it would get lost.

kent, it would be asier for you to go to a site like Heritage and take a look around that site at the paper money listed there. Even if you dont buy anything, the site will show you alot of notes, with grades and realized prices. They almost always offer high resolution pictures for viewing too. You would get alot more pictures then you could shake a stick at :) and many many more then we could post in a thread :)
