Alright, so it breaks down to... A Bunch of 1995/99 Stars Three consecutive and UNC 57 silver certs 04 star $20
Well thats a very nice start! Welcome to the World of Paper... A few hints on your images... check your white balance....the yellow cast can be corrected by selecting the right WB or color temp. Read your cameras or scanner manual...By the reflection, I am guessing that you took this in your bathroom...looks like a bar type lighting fixture on a white countertop or linoleum floor. Thanks for sharing.. RickieB I took the liberty to adjust one for you..here is a better rendition.
it may be a small collection, but size DOES NOT matter the omnly thing that does is that you enjoy what yoiu are doing!! the silver certs and the $20* are very cool... i am not sure what the notes in the mylars are ... are they a district set or stars? RickeyB... cool fix on the photo!!! but how did you change the color without changing the whole image including the note?
White balance and brightness and a smigin of contrast...a few clicks here and few clicks there..LOL RickieB
Very nice man! :thumb: Very nice collection, whether great or small. :thumb: Should take a pic of my collection one of these days, but would look very inferior to most of the notes posted here. So I'll wait till it grows some more. Nice notes man. :thumb: Phoenix
Your collection will snowball. It just happens believe me. You DO have a very nice start and I thank you for sharing it with us. clembo
Not All of them are UNC, but I had collected about $300 face in star notes and just kept the best $1's that I had. The rest were spent 2 or so years back.
Nice collection bigandy! I have a small collection of star notes myself. $1s $5s and a few $20s plus I, my wife actually, found a 1950 $20 dollar note while digging through her wallet. I traded her one of mine for hers, she no doubt would have spent it on shoes or something.
Even the world's largest collection was a small collection at one time. Keep up the good work and keep sharing them.
