I just received a group of coins from a state unclaimed property auction. This was sight unseen with only a general description of what was there so I was taking a chance. However, I think I made out fairly well. There were a few SL half-dimes and a whole bunch of Lincolns. What made it all worth while were two 20-cent pieces - one 1875-S and one 1875-CC. In the Lincolns were a RB AU 1909 and an F 1909 VDB, every S-mint from 1910 through 1944, including two 1931-S, and every D-mint from 1911 through 1944 (alas, except a 1914-D). I now have a nearly complete Lincoln set, missing only the 09-S, 09-SVDB and 14-D. Oh yes, and a year set of 2-centers from 1864 through 1871. They're only G to VG, but more than I had before. The 1875-CC more than covered my costs.
