I bought a few key date coins today in PCGS slabs today. I bought all of them at 15% to 20% back of gray sheet. They are three Barber quarters, 1896-s in G6, 1901-s in ag3, and 1913-s in G4. Also a 1909-s VDB in VF25, 1915 Barber half F15, and a 1909-s Indian in a genuine holder. In the Genuine holder I gave 30% back of good price. Tomorrow I am going to look at a group of PCGS graded Venetian Gold coins and a full book of Morgans with the 1893-s in a PCGS slab. None of the morgans are that great but the best price these people were offered on the complete set of Morgans from the local dealers was $6000. I made them a sight unseen offer for the Venetian Gold coins graded by the PCGS and beat the local dealers offer by $1000. So I think I will buy those. Not sure about the Morgans. Jim
