I was in Gibralter this morning on business and while there had a look in a secondhand shop. Picked up a couple of books and was at the counter to pay and asked the lady if there were any coin shops. No, but she had a box of coins if I was interested to look. Like a red rag to a bull. Anyway to cut a long tale short, I got two coins to replace ones I already had but in much better condition. Gibralter 50 Pence for 2 Euros and a 1000 Yen Tokyo Olympics 1964. Silver .925 for 15 Euros with dramatic toning far stronger than the one I have. Cropped it a bit tight, sorry
My other 1 is just blast white with a few gouges. I must say, the lady in the shop knew her business. She looked online for the coin, did the math at today's price and added a little. I didn;t care, I loved the look of that coin and had to have it.
