I need help please I am trying to post clickable thumbnails of my coins. When I use photobucket it creates the clickable thumbnail but upon clicking the thumbnail it enlarges the image and take the person clicking it into my photobucket page with all my info. Can someone please please tell me how to post the clickable thumbnails so that it enlarges the image upon clicking but without taking the clicker to my home page.
When I pass the mouse over the thumbnail photo of mine on photobucket, it drops a menu of choices. Since I resize my photos to the size I want to post before putting on photobucket, I just select the "direct link" which pastes the address in my clipboard, so I go to Coin Talk, and where I want to add the photo, I click on the " photo" icon ( mountain/sun ) and clear the entry with a backspace and then control "v" to put the photobucket address ( and the photo) into my post. I haven't tried pasting a thumbnail that expands, as the CT software limits the size of the photo and the reader can click on the top band of the photo to enlarge it. Jim
I always use the IMG link all the way at the bottom of the options. When you paste those in here, the picture just shows up and nobody has to do anything to look at it. If I have to click a link to see a picture, I usually only make the effort about 50% of the time. Be sure to edit and resize them before you use also, otherwise some pictures are too large and expand the page wider than it's supposed to be causing the text of a thread to go off the side of the page.
I do the same as everyone mentioned. I don't think it was always the way it is now but when I first open that web site up, there is nothing under the photos. Then as already mentioned, when you pass over the photo, the drop down info appears. Then I do as already said by just clicking on the last item.
Yep - you are correct. It did not use to be like that. Now sometimes arrowing over and down can be a pain in th butt.
