So, I got bored and decided to l ook at all the 1974 Mint sets that I own. Sadly, this was the best Ike in the entire group. ISO-800 F/32 1/2.5 shutter One 5000 degree bulb north of coin I was too lazy to edit the photo, take out my copy stand and grab additional lights. Thoughts? I'm thinking it would be MS64/65, but I really don't grade large dollars well at all.
Nice photos! I'd say close to 65, but that forehead ding is rough. I'd peg it at 64A/65C if submitting and hope for the best
I have a feeling the photo and lighting is making those distracting scratches more prominent than they really are in hand.........'65.
I would have said 64, but the Ike phankins had us guess at was certified by NGC at 67 if you remember, so I will grade yours at 65.
Umm... What? Here's a different aperture and light distance; this one makes me think it might be pushing MS63: And a flashy '74 proof silver (PF-66?), just because I can:
