Hi. Before cleaning this coin of Constantius II , I noticed that the reverse which figures the legendary bird Phoenix had a mint mark of Antioch followed by a supposedly rare officina ( Epsilon ) for this type of series. Am I right? Thanks for your comments.. Phoenix.jpg Phoenix O.jpg

It's RIC VIII 129. All issues are considered scarce. RIC does not break down rarity values by officina for this series.

In researching this question well answered by others, I ran across a Phoenix of Constantius Gallus. I thought he came in after they were finished. Does anyone have one? Seen one?

I've seen one on Wildwinds, never come across one for sale...

I had believed also that there were no hut types of Gallus. Correct? For some reason I can not access Wildwinds right now.

I didn't see any huts listed for Gallus, but if you wanted to break out of the FH box, there are several Victory and emperor-standing types. Something to put on the cherry-picking list. I'll bet they occasionally get mis-attributed to Constantius II.
