I picked up this one today as well. Now I need some advice on this one. I come from a background in US coins, where any kind of cleaning is a big no-no. I understand for ancients, some cleaning is OK if done properly.

I've noticed some crud(love that technical numismatic jargon) on the legend of this coin. Would this coin be a good candidate for a cleaning? Perhaps a bath in olive oil followed by a light scrubbing with a toothbrush?

Good strike on that coin with solid features. I'd clean it up too - it could look stunning.

Pure lemon juice, soak for awhile then toothpick the crud off.
