peru numismatic books ?

    Hi. I am new to CoinTalk.


    The
    Standard Catalog of World Coins Spain, Portugal and the New World (Paperback)
    by Chester L. Krause, Clifford Mishler
    Does this guide contain a comprehensive list of most Peruvian coins,
    both before and after independence from Spain ?

    Any other suggestions for a comprehensive guide to Peru coins/prices,
    that is still in print ?

    Howdy pre_decimal - Welcome to the Forum !!

    The book you mention primarily list the older coinage of Peru but it does contain some coins up until 1960's or so. Your best bet for a complete listing of the coinage of Peru is the various volumes of the Standard Catalog or World Coins also published by Krause.
