These are no more coins than boot buttons are coins. They are simply sucker bait. Luckily there is one born every minute to soak up this nonsense.
In a few years time they will be getting melted down with all the other similar ways of selling silver at a handsome profit.

I am totally against colorized and stickered coins. No value whatsoever. I would rather buy toys and hold for a few years and wait for someone who missed them to buy them.

If they weren't colorized and cost too much (just guessing they're expensive) I would be on 'em. I'm not sure who made them, but there are silver plaquetes of the original movie covers. They sell for over $100 so I never bought any.

I agree with this too. Not a coin, sucker bait...

I have to agree also. The sad thing is that Perth make the best silver bullion coins right now apart from this dross. Hopefully they come to sense before making any more.

Could we not at least call them 'rounds'. They are not even NCLT.

Medallions, possibly? Only an unfortunate coincidence of shape brings them onto a coin board.

I would prefer they call them medallions also. But Perth insists they are coins.

Well technicaly they can call them coins. One definition from "The Free Dictionary By Farflex" - 3. A flat circular piece or object felt to resemble metal money:

Wonder what Chris would say? Perhaps "If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, and smells like a duck". LOL. C'mon Chris, we need your 2 cents worth here!

Perhaps for a true Trekkie these are probably a must have but I think back to the overhyped Franklin Mint material that years later was impossible to unload and most buyers took a hit to the pocketbook. Same thing with Hummel products.

Yeah - probably the ONLY place if you wanted to sell them are at a Trekkie Convention!!
