Hi, Last night i went out detecting with my brother and we came across a nice signal. It was about 4 inches deep and we found a Leather scrap and in between it was those beautiful Penny's. The 1936 penny has this beautiful colors when u adjust it to the light. The 1929 penny was more on the side of the leather scrap and touching the dirt so i am guessing thats why it didnt get the same colors. I would like to hear from you guys what you think about them. do they look toned?

Nice finds, and nice condition! Copper and bronze usually come out at least heavily patinated, and more often badly corroded.
    Yours look great.
