Penny on silver 2.4g ?

    Someone just stripped the copper plating off. Just damage.

    I found this Penny coin roll hunting on the edges it has indentions like a dime would have it weighs 2.4 and it's real thin compared to most any penny I think it's flat cuz of the soft metal I don't know I ain't a coin expert maybe you can help me out1995 d 20180122_202159.jpg 20180119_172059.jpg

    The Copper Plating has been affected

    Doesn't look anything like silver. I guess you're seeing zinc, from where the copper plating was lost when the coin got damaged. These modern cents are 95% zinc with only 5% copper in the outer layer.
