Welcome to Coin Talk. It looks like a 1982 or later copper coated zinc Lincoln cent. The obverse has been ground down so badly that it's impossible to see any details. All you have is a damaged coin.

    Hi:)
    Welcome to ct!

Imho, it’s very difficult to tell from your pictures but it looks like a possible split planchet.

If it was a split penny then you would not be able to see any design.

    Please post better pictures.
for a proper evaluation from the experts.
    Thank you

    Spend it as it's damaged.

It doesn't really look like a split planchet, but it does very much look like a coin that's had one side ground off. It's worth even less than a cent, because machines won't accept it in its current state.

We can tell that it was minted sometime between 1982 (when the Mint started using copper-coated zinc) and 2008 (the last year of the Memorial reverse).

No man.. NO! That is not a split Planchet!

You can clearly see the grinder marks. It's just deliberate post mint damage

It weighs less because that much metal has been ground off.
    Just another abused penny.

Welcome to CT. Have any of you seen the click bait story about parents gluing pennies (cents) to the bottom or their children's shoes? This looks like one that dropped off. Clearly ground on the obverse. Might have glue residue on the reverse. LOL

100 % ground off with a circular grinder. I would throw it in the waste pickup container so it wouldn't show up here again, damage. Jim
