What is the value of a penny that is missing the date and the word trust?

$.01 without pictures so we can see why the date and TRUST are missing. Could be a grease filled die, or it could have been removed after leaving the Mint, which would make it PMD(Post Mint Damage).

That's pretty cool, probably a grease filled die. Is there no trace of the date at all?

    Are those worth anything?

I do not believe so, however, I think they're cool and stick any I find in 2X2's.

That is a relatively nice grease-filled die, and I would keep it. But don't fool yourself - it's not worth more than a buck as a curiosity.

Just to show you how unpredictable CT members are, I don't have an example of a grease-filled die, and I would pay $2 for it, seller pay postage.

The no dates sell for about a buck on eBay.

No argument -- I"m willing to pay over what some here cite as "market" price because I like the coin, and because I would rather deal with a CT member than a stranger on eBay.

The coin may not be worth much, but it is still very cool. I would keep it in my personal collection if I found it.

Now, now, I am sure no one is purposely or otherwise trying to break the rules here. I think people are posting in a facicious manner.
