I was checking my change today from shopping and found a 1993 penny where some of the copper is worn off. I was wondering exactly how easy it is to get the copper off the zinc?

    Thanks,

P.S. - Got a wheat penny yesterday and although worn, it was exciting !

I agree. It appears to have been chemically altered, or dipped in some sort of acid. Might be an error, but I doubt it honestly. But still pretty interesting. Nice find on the wheat. :thumb: What is the date?
