Christmas of 1976: my parents gave me two coin folders(Jefferson Nickels and Lincoln cents, along with a very simple coin guide. They also gave me a stamp collecting book. It was if they were giving me a choice. 44 years later, i am still hooked on coin collecting, and although my dad has a very nice stamp collection, it never interested me like coin collecting.
