PENNY, has the ridge but not stamped front or back

    I have a penny that has the ridge but it's totally blank on both sides. Does anyone know if this is a rare occurence? Or if it's worth anything?

    Type II blank planchet. Not super valuable around $2 on a good day.

    Welcome to Coin Talk! We will really need to see a photo to properly evaluate it, but it sounds like you might have a blank planchet. While not very common, they're also not that valuable. They typically sell for a buck or two.
