I happen to be a roll searcher and 1944 is one of the most common dates (for wheats) I come across. Sorry, its not worth much .05-.25 unless its a variety.
wheats Fla_Joe. Over the years I have checked my pocket change but never organized the coins. I have about 6 rolls of 1 c wheats ...any suggestions about what to do next?
look in your phonebook under coins and usually there will be a coin dealer or two in there. also, look in flea markets. there are usuallly a few in flea markets. you will probaly get about $1 a roll for them.
Still, it is fun to find Wheats. Good find. It is considered a common date though, as far as wheats are concered. Phoenix
I live in Connecticut. There is a dealer that I know of in the Seymour area, but that is a pretty far distance from Putnam. :desk: I figure there are probably a few dealers in your area. Another good way to sell your coins is on Ebay, you might be able to get more off Ebay than a dealer. -Rob
