    If the first two are on Zincolns (post 1982 cents) I would bet plating bubbles. Still interesting though.

    Raised areas on Zlincoln cents have always been a controvercy. There are legitimate die cracks on Modern plated cents.

    No, she just had some coins saved up for me to look through. I have another friend that has a hoard of pennies pulled from circulation 30-40yrs ago. Can't wait to look through those!
