I don't mind the shield. The "Wheat reverse" was nothing special, the "Memorial reverse" lacked detail in the Lincoln statue and the "Shield reverse" is a nice change. Besides, in the 21st century, the shield seems to be appropriate for the US (Homeland Security, Alerts, Threats, Attacks). I, of course, am now totally deprived of both Canadian and US cents. Thanks to our gov't phasing out the Canadian pennies, the US ones no longer have the opportunity to show up in our change. With one blow, they took out two supply lines.
