The last time I looked into a fountain there were more than pennies in it. Dimes and quarters too. It adds up.
older fountains are more then likly full of silver i watch a tv show a long time ago that talked about a wishing well that was in an underground cave some where in the usa that every year theyed have scuba divers go down with vacums and suck out 100,000+ in change if they didnts do that in a few years would would be over loaded
Why cannot the boy work at hard labour to work off his debt? Why does insurance have to cover damage caused by a criminal? Why cannot the perpetrator have to bear the burden instead?
Totally agree. The kid doesn't learn any lesson as a result of his actions. Sure he will probably be fined (and the parents will pay for that). A couple hundred hours of community service sweeping streets or cleaning toilets will make an impression on this kid. Parents paying a fine for the kid serves no purpose of impressing upon him the consequences for his actions. Bad conduct deserves consequences.
