I acquired this charming medal today after reading the date 1899 on reverse. Within wreath, I could read " Festival Pellenberg 27 Augusti 1899. The attractive obverse seems to have a religious appearance, but I'm not sure what it represents. Searching on Google, I found that Pellenberg is situated in Belgium and that festivals and ceremonies are held there every year in summer. They concern expos, youths meetings, dinners, concerts and dancing parties, among other leisure and activities. The medal has 50 mm. of diameter. Glad to read any comments. Thanks..
