    I'm trying to identify another new coin..Anyone seen this coin before?

    Definite griffin.

    Teos, maybe?

    Edit: that was just my quickie first impression. Of course a lot of other Greek polities used griffons/gryphons on their coins.

    I like 'em all. :)

    Well domestic cats ya have to look under its tail. Most dogs how ever all ya have to do is look. Birds it been a long time but I remember the vet squeezing something, or it has to do with bill color.
    Never actually seen a griffin so I'm not to sure :D just jokes.:)

    Ummm, they claim that symbol-pair is "Dog & Snake"

    ... although fox or crocodile are probably better guesses than dog, eh? (oh well, they're the ancient coin gurus)
