Peace dollar experts I'm not sure what to think about

this 1922 that has what looks like to me, PL surface. It doesn't look polished.
all options are welcome, it also looks to have an obverse lamination. Be brave I want to hear the good, bad and ugly.

It looks cleaned and polished to me.

 

It's harshly cleaned.

No joke, I was asking for honest opinion.
Not only that I learned sometime today.

 

It looks like it had terminal black toneing and someone dipped and brushed it way to many times, and then gave up. IMHO.

Thanks, I should have paid more attention to the rim.
Now I understand, and it will become my pocket piece .

 

It’s been cleaned and polished, unfortunately, and it is was struck with a grease filled worn die. I’m not seeing a lamination either. If you are referring to the area behind Mrs. Liberty’s head and the RT in LIBERTY, that may be a die clash. I just can’t tell from a photo.

 

It will make a nice one. Awesome rim photo shot.
