Does anyone here currently do PCGS submissions and wouldn't mind if I piggy-backed on their submission? I'd of course pay all costs for shipping and everything and would greatly appreciate it. Just message here or PM if you can help out in any way.

Haven't done any pcgs submissions, but what you're asking may be a problem, since pcgs is going after coin doctors. Not that you are a CD, but if one were to submit through another, that could put the other person at risk. I don't know, anyone else have a different opinion?

No, it shouldn't cause any issues. I've submitted through other members here before and nothing ever came up. I mailed the coins to him, he sent them in, and mailed them back. Then I just reimbursed everything.

Most dealers can do this for you for a fee.

What's a reasonable price when going with a dealer?

Is it really that difficult to do it yourself? I don't know. This is something I've been thinking about too, because I have several coins I'd like to send to PCGS as well...

Not so much difficulty but getting the membership and paying for it can run you more than your wallet would like.
I'd love to piggyback on somebody else's submission rather than do it myself, that is just the price of PCGS's membership, or me not doing something correctly, etc.

Hmm, I'm sure I could figure something out to get cointalkers a reliable setup to send coins in for without having to pay for separate accounts...

I have known some that do it for $25.

You have to be a paying member of the service, plus shipping to and from the TPG, plus their fee for grading and slabbing.

    $25 - $35.
