I've submitted to NGC before, and now I'm going to get a PCGS submission and send some there. I know for NGC, each invoice must be of the same type, US/world and grading tier. For PCGS, from what I can tell, as long as everything is of the same grading tier, you can mix world and US coins on a single invoice, is that right?
According to the Sub form, no. Only one of the following service groups can be checked for each submission. US Standard, World Standard, US Secure Plus, World Secure Plus Edited to add that World coins older than 1955 need to be submitted under Secure Plus now.
PCGS does not charge extra for major varieties, and certainly not for color. FH, FS, FBL, etc. are all part of the grading fee. A '55DDO would never be simply graded as a '55. Variety attributions, for coins like large cents and bust halves, do cost extra. I never pay the ridiculous charge. I just cite the PCGS coin number for the variety and it gets slabbed with it. Lance.
