PCGS Price Guide on Mint & Proof Sets

    Are they accurate on market price? If not, what is?

    in general the PCGS price guide is high by near 40% or so. waste of time imo. you can look up past auction prices on Heritage, Great Collections, or Ebay to see what things actually sell for.

    I'm usually disinclined to discuss modern coins in "coin chat".

    The PCGS guide looks extremely acxcurate for mint sets though the SMS prices seem a little low and the '70 sm dt is low.

    These prices are full retail though and wholesale is 25 to 40% less. These sets are usually available near wholesale unless you want to pick and choose or desire specific dates.
