PCGS Pop Reports

I want to make sure I understand this correctly....

For example, I have an MS64 1890 Indian Head Cent. It is listed as a 30 population. It also has a 4 population higher. Does that mean there are 30 PCGS MS64 1890 IHCs graded and there are 4 1890 IHCs graded higher??

You are correct.

Edit: ALso want to add, that only means coins in the same color category. If yours is a 64BN, it only takes in account for BN coins and not RB or RED coins.
