I cracked this out and sent it to PCGS. It got a grade. Can you figure it out? It does have some neat doubling.
The doubling is strike doubling, esp on the date and the wing. Grade: well it is a very weak strike, so either AU-50 or Unc.
XF45? It seems rather backwards where the wear is. I want it to be AU simply from seeing the feathers on the chest of the eagle look so well preserved, but the reverse disagrees.
I'll post a pic in 2 days of the coin in the holder... unless you all want me to spoil it and just tell you.
These guess the grades should run 24 hours max. IMO. Else, people forget about the subject, etc., I can become like a bad joke. Not much price difference in the various AU grades, probably around 55.
