PCGS is now doing custom slabs for Mike Mezak and HSN for TV peddling of Silver Eagle bullion coins. Seriously overpriced, of course.

Now, of course, we have to have the mandatory excuse-making for HSN: they have high production costs.

    There. It's done.

    And now in response:

    That's out of the way.

Does the PCGS insert include the "First Dump" attribution?

Don't forget the one of a kind label with the green box and the unique green ring.

I doubt very highly that HSN did anything beyond order a couple monster boxes and ship them to PCGS under the bulk grading option.

Probably something along of lines of wishing they could get their business or wonder why they haven't

This coin lists for $600 in the leading numismatic catalog, which is a great deal. But we could make a special deal, and cut the price to $300 and sell every coin in stock. BUT! This is a limited offer, so we're going to lower the price all the way to $179.99. Get yours right now while they last. This is a unique piece of history that does not often come up, and we just cleaned our warehouse and found this hoard. We will call it the MICHIGAN-AMERICAN NUMISMATIC ESTATE BANK MUSEUM WAREHOUSE MINT HOARD. This is an offer that you will likely not see again, and stock is quickly depleting. Get yours before they are gone. Our lines are currently overflowing with orders for these rare coins. We only have a couple of them left in stock... and they're gone.

And the TPG's have been doing things like this for close to 20 years. This is nothing new.
