Hello Cointalk, would any of you happen to know if the Pasadena Rosebowl in California has any coin dealers there? I have been to a few other swapmeet type stuff before and there is usually one or two dealers there.

For being the largest antique flea market, yes, there are only two or three dealers there. Problem is, the pricing isn't that great. There is better ones at the Long Beach Antique Flea market. A gentleman usually in the "blue section" and one in the "white section" There are others but mostly overpriced stuff. I forget their names cause I never get their cards... the gentleman in the blue section usually carries an assortment of bars and rounds, and occasionally some Morgan and Peace dollars. He's very fair. Also, the guy in the white section carried a larger assortment. Ive seen him with 5, 10, and 100 oz silver bars, and many rounds and bars. He's good too.

Finally @ the Torrance street faire, there is two guys there...one is well known all over the place, but he's hit or miss. The other guy is cool as heck and sits almost dead smack in front of the store that runs the antique show. Super nice guy, friendly and always willing to engage in some coin chatter.

I guess it all depends what exactly you are looking for. All these guys might or might not have what you are looking for.

Sorry my info is not all that precise...but I hope it helps a little.

i'll be at Torrance..selling on the 4th sunday this month.. anytime you wanna go....i'll let you know ahead of time what space I will be in.. and if you show up, I will personally introduce you to the guy there. He's easy because he's always in the same spot. The guys at long beach are in different spots so Its a little tougher.

Have not been in quite a while, but the last time I was at the Rose Bowl Swap meet there was a dealer there. I think the same guy does the Motorcycle Swap meet in Long Beach sometimes. He had quite a bit of stuff, lots of circulated US silver, and a decent amount of foreign coins. Prices didn't seem to great to me.

I'll have to keep my redbook memorized to make sure I don't overspend :)
