Partial filled die?

    Hi Can someone tell me if a proof coin can have a partially filled die? I think I have one and I'll send a pic and see what you think. Note the field area under unum I noticed the frosting is gone on the word unum any thoughts Thanks

    Yes it's possible to have a filled Proof die - but I'd have to say that is a strike from a worn out die. It's probably one of the last coins struck with that die.
