Good evening! I havent posted any Parthians as of late...so i thought i'd post this one.....frankly, im a little stumped. When i acquired this coin, it was listed as Orodes II...i do know based on looking at it, that it is not. I am inclined to believe it is a sellwood 36.10 coin of Darius. Any opinions on this one, are, as always, appreciated. Also, if anyone has anything related, please post for us to see!
Good call, William. Sellwood 36.10 (legend #3, mint: Rhagae - close up of the reverse, below). Sellwood had these as "Darius?" (with the question mark) Shore and Assar have the S.36's as Phraates III. Shore has your coin as his #156 - that is, as Shore 156.
