Another tough challenge this week! though right off the bat i really
Have to question the grade of the series 611 $10 what a gorgeous
Note:yes:but to be honest i couldnt believe the grade it got from PMG
in my book easily a 66 or 67 but a 63 i think someone was a sleep at
Switch on that one! when considering a grade margins and boarders
Are the first things you look at here basically problem free with just
The slightest push to the left and no pq designation either you really
Have to wonder about this one:mad:

The Red seal had it,s challenges but they were more pronounced easier
To see margins and boarders were way off but you did have to decide
If this was A/U or UNC because of that it did make it in to the UNC
Of 62PPQ in which Steve in Tampa nailed it for our only win in #12

    Here,s how we did:

    1. STEVE IN TAMPA

    MPC...................................................67PPQ

    RED SEAL............................................62PPQ.............WINNER

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    RED SEAL.............................................64PPQ

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    5. RZAGE

    MPC.....................................................68

    RED SEAL..............................................64

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    6. DR. KEGG

    MPC.....................................................69PPQ

    RED SEAL..............................................61PPQ

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Updated totals:

    Congrats Steve!

These grading results are shocking. I think I'd seriously consider resubmitting that $10 MPC note or crossing over if you think PCGS would go higher. What a shame it didn't go higher.

Thanks again for another HARD round!

Chris it,s really a no brain,er on the Mpc Series 611 $10 63,s usually have severe centering
Issues which i dont see here at all just compare it to the red seal which is only 1 grade
Lower not even close to center!

Wow, that MPC needs resubmitted! I could have sworn it would have been in the 68-69 range. It looks beautiful to me, but then again it's only a scanned image.
Close on the red seal though, so close! Thanks again Rusty.

I see alot of the 1928 LT's with less than perfect margins, but that series 611 MPC really surprises me.........the 63 does seem low, but what deprived it of the EPQ designation ? Does it have small pinholes, or has it been pressed, or was it holdered by PMG before they started using the EPQ designation ?
