Anyone seen these PMA stickers? https://papermoneyassure.com/home/learn_more I understand what they are pitching, but the concept still seems pretty redundant to me.

I appreciate coins or notes being in professional slabs or holders. However, I have never purchased stickered slabs just because of the sticker. This process will not do much for me on paper currency either. Many times the higher selling price stops me from buying. Now if somebody else wants to do this and it doesn't affect the value, thats fine. I will continue to be indifferent about them, when I add items to my collections.
Sucking more money out of collectors, it seems to me. They've caught on that a large segment of the community buys the holder, not the note, and have found a way to make a few bucks off it. Dave
i think it's crazy they are doing this now on paper currency. just more money people will throw away. i mean come on. the paper currency market has been fine all these years without this. why pay to add some nonsense sticker to the slab. so sad. companies always trying to milk people out of $$$$$
I'm pretty sure the coin side had similar opinions back in late 2007 with the inception of CAC and the start of green & gold stickers showing up on slabbed coins.
I'm also particularly amused by the fact you pay to send it in for a sticker, with a good chance it will come back without one.
