    Its a replica of a Ching Dynasty coin. Chinese coins are full of reproductions, even though the originals can be inexpensive. Its a tricky field. If you are interested in them I can give you the best references and dealers to use.

    Well the best English language book I know is Hartill's "Cast Chinese Coinage". Frank Robinson or www.coincoin.com sells them. Those are also two great dealers for Chinese cash.
