Any input on this penny? I don't know if it's flaking apart of someone painted it one day. It has a weird pink tint, but it doesn't seem like it's paint. IMG_8927.jpg IMG_8926.jpg

Definitely paint. Paint comes in many forms.

Not a mint error of any kind.

It looks like it's separating from Lincoln's face. See if you can remove some of it with a toothpick. ~ Chris

Nail polish could also be the culprit.

Regardless, something was added to the obverse after it left the mint. I would toss it in the change jar since it's considered a damaged coin

    Looks like white-out.

It's been added after it left the mint so not a mint error. Too many things it could be so I'll not speculate on that. It's damaged and that's what counts.

    +5 on possibly white-out/paint /polish

Looks like you could easily peel parts of it off.
