Feels awkward posting in the paper money section. Regardless, I feel I must share. I will admit first hand that I know virtually nothing about paper money other than it buys a lot more than most coins. So, here's what I have: uncut $2 bills. I know they aren't full sheets...maybe quarter of a sheet? I know nothing of rarity of issue, if they are still legal tender, seals, or even serial number significance. Regardless, I hope to research a little and maybe get your guys opinion on them. Bills do have sequential numbers. The "date" says series 2003 A on one and 2003 on the other. So, with my great excitement, even though I don't actively collect paper money, here are the two dollar bills: Sorry for small pics. I wanted to get the entire "sheet" and scanning wasn't an option.
These may very well be as purchased from the BEP. Historically, the BEP has sold sheets of uncut bills in groups of at least 8, 16 and 32 notes depending upon denomination.
yah I have bought a couple of the 4 sheets from them. They are just cool to have. I'm not sure of their worth either, but just something fun to own I'd say
Uncut sheets are pretty cool. I've got a sheet of 40 Canadian $20 bills coming next week. After that, I'll get a sheet of U.S. bills as well. They look excellent framed.
