That sucks but he DOES have only himself to blame. We all know how it is when a non collector says "you paid $500 for a nickel?".

I wonder where in LA you can buy groceries and lunch for three dollars in change and why the need for change if you were going to spend the three dollars anyway? Too many questions left unanswered with that story. I can just see a person's face at a register when you ask to look at the change in the drawer for $600,000.00 in rare coins that may be there.
LOL indeed....this guy who was visiting didn't know that his host was a coin collecter...and very valuable coins were just left out on his desk. And this Argentinian needs a double latte and grabs some small change that amounts to 600 thousand dollars....I smell a rat.
