hemi, All 1959 through 1991 and most of the 1992 "Business Strike" Lincoln Cents were "Wide AM's"! From 1993 to current, Business Strike Cents have the "Close AM" Reverses, while the Proof Cents have the "Wide AM" Reverses. The exception to this, is the Business Strike "Wide AM" Cents that you noted, the 1992-P and 1992-D Business Strike "Close AM" Cents and the1998-S and 1999-S Proof Cents with "Close AM" Reverses. The only other exception known are the 1993-S Proof Cents which are a toss up, as "Close AM" and "Wide AM" Reverses both can be found on these but neither is considered an Error! Also, it is quite possible that a 2000-S Proof Cent with a "Close AM" was struck but none have been reported to found as of this writing. Frank
philly, so a closed AM 92 would mean they are touching? and close AM on 98+99 S means they are not wide but not touching? Is this correct
