Original Roman Exergue

    Hi. The charming reverse of this Roman coin shows an unusual exergue , to me. The lettering on the obverse Is difficult for me to read. I cannot recognize the Emperor. I do always appreciate your valuable comments. Thanks.. Charles Str R.jpg Str E O.jpg

    Rev.: PRINCIPI I-VVENTVTIS, Mars standing naked except for helmet and boots, head left, chlamys over left shoulder, holding spear and leaning on shield, star and crescent in ex.

    A scarcer Arles mint issue.
