So, I have decided that I am going to order a couple boxes from my bank.....Does your bank have you pay for them upfront, or do you pay for them when they come in? I'm thinking of starting with pennies and nickels to start with.

I am more inclined to buy the cents. But, I like cwr's and the separated cents from their coin counting machine. You would have to ask your bank to save you a full bag, before they send it off to the Feds.

I've never had to pay for the coins in advanced at the banks I've gotten them from, but that doesn't mean some of them don't. You'll have to check with your bank. Good luck!

I purchase 3 or 4 boxes of Cents a week, order on a monday and they come in on thursday. I would ask them as a courtousy if ordering boxes is a hassle or inconvieince (they will always say its not a problem) but will appreciate your concern and manners and will always be happy to help you and maybe even save you unique coins they come across. You pay when you by the coins too.

I CRH pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars. I never have to pay up front for them, but you do have to have an account with the bank that is ordering you he boxes. The other key is, NEVER bring the coins you don't want rolled up to the bank that ordered you the coins. You need to find another bank of the same branch that won't help you out and make them your dump bank. Another option which I use is my branch has a coin machine. They are about 99% accurate and don't take a percentage out as long as you have an account with them.
