My 1892-CC Morgan has a number of rim dings.
And unlike my other problem Morgans this one will cost a lot more to replace, even in this grade (I see it as VF).

How bad do you think it is?

To me not that bad, but to a TPG probably damaged. The only one I really do not like is the hit above O in of. Just my opinion.

Appears to have been harshly cleaned at some point, that coupled with the numerous rim dings would keep it from being graded. I agree the coin has VF details.

The more I look at it the less I like it.
I just noticed the "dig" between the "BU" of "PLURIBUS".

This coin now goes on my "to be replaced" list.
I'll have to see if I can find enough money to get an XF.

You may decide on a "grade" comparable to the other Morgans in your collection...

    just a thought...

All depends on how you store your coins, if you plan on selling them, who you show them to and lots of other things.
I put almost all my coins in Whitman Albums so those dinks you are so worried about would hardly be seen or noticed. Since I never sell coins and seldom show them to people, except my Son who knows nothing about coins, again, those dinks make no difference.
As noted it appears to have been cleaned. And again, if it was my coin I wouldn't care since again, I don't plan on selling it and would never send a coin for grading.
To sum up my opinions, don't worry about those little things.

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

VF details, cleaned/rim ding, net F.

May make it into a slab, as the TPGs tend to be a bit forgiving of this date...Mike
