    This is a Washington Quarter that to me appears as though it had a clash die error. (Is a clash die an error?)

    Anyway, take a look at the ERTY and Dollar stamping on the reverse side and tell me what you think.

    You are right Mat. I just don't know what to look for. I just thought that since the mushing of lettering was at the same locations ( Obv & Rev ) it would be from a die error. It could be just wear or possibly a weak strike.
