I've been doing some shopping for Canadian coins recently and have come across a fair number of authenticated coins, but know next to nothing about the grading companies. Do CCCS and ICCS have high grading standards? How do they compare to U.S. TPG's?
I've had limited experience with them, but I have heard that ICCS will grade a bit stricter than US TPG on Canadian coins.
I've heard the same thing. I'd feel pretty comfortable buying an ICCS graded coin. The holder stinks (I plan on having mine regraded by PCGS next year), but I'd stand by the grade, absolutely.
