    hey all,

I've been tracking a Liberty Nickel on Heritage Auction that caught my eye for my type set. Well here it is one day before the auction and took one last good look at her. I looked at the large blown up images and noticed what appears to be spots or issues near her nose that for me would be a distraction.

This kind of bothered me so I took one more look at ebay and see what they had to offer. I came across this one.

Now I'm not in a hurry but I have been pretty set and just looking foward to the Heritage Auction one to start but since seeing what I saw i'm a little disappointed.

What I'm wondering from the community is which one you like best based on eye appeal and lack of distracting marks/issues. Just looking for thoughts on which one I should shoot for. Thanks.

Do you prefer an AU coin, or will a nice MS 1883 N/C do the job. The 1883s are common in high grades and can be found relatively cheap.

As far as the two that you are looking at, the Heritage coin looks much nicer to my eyes.

An '83 n/c would do the job, just haven't come across one I like yet.

The 91 is to weakly struck for my taste otherwise decent eye appeal
The 07 to high of a price.

Are you sure those spots would bother you - those large pictures can make every little mark look bad. Exactly what are you looking for - an MS example for a type set or what? What I know is the better struck coins will have some detail on the left corn on the reverse.
