I'm thinking of getting the following book:

The Complete Guide to Walking Liberty Half Dollars, by Bruce Fox, 1993

I'd like to get opinions about the book from those familiar with it.
Is it the best available on WL's?
    Does its contents appear dated?
    Completeness?
    Other comments?

book is okay, however, as you suspect it is somewhat dated.

I'd also like to know if its the best Walker book. The recent one that I own is by Jeff Ambio and is pretty good.

For me it would depend on the price of the book. If cheap enough for any book, there is always something in one that is usually not in others. Of course many of the now numerous books on any coin is sort of repititious of many others. I guess if you can't make money on coins, write a book on them.
Sort of like those that write books on how to become rich selling real estate. Most don't buy or sell that, they just write books on how to do it.
