I'm looking for input on an item I'm thinking of buying. It is a 1927-S Standing Liberty Quarter. It is listed as Very Good. I was looking for some opinions on this coin and the originality of it, whether it's problem-free, etc. Thanks!

Brown and Dunn Grading sez: Good - Top of date will be worn but the date and all lettering will be readable. Liberty's right leg will be worn about smooth. Toes will be worn away. Much wear will be visible on Liberty's left leg and garment lines above hip. Very Good - There will be a complete date with the top and bottom of the figures standing out distinctly. Although Liberty's right leg will show considerable wear, the toes will show faintly. Garment lines above left leg must be visible. Kind of between G and VG.

Yeah personally I wouldn't pay a dollar more than spot price for that one but I'm cheap like that haha
Are you trying to put a whole set together?

I'm putting together a type set and I've always wanted a 27-S SLQ ... just didn't know if this was closer to good than VG ... i'm no expert in this series
